SMPN 10 Ciputat students allegedly bullied by seniors

Fourteen eighth-grade students at SMPN 10 Ciputat in South Tangerang were allegedly victims of severe bullying by older students. The incident reportedly occurred at a coffee shop where the students were coerced into participating in a game involving smoking and consuming a mixture of various ingredients.

The concoction allegedly contained coffee, sauce, soy sauce, pepper, garlic, saliva, tap water, and vinegar. Some victims reportedly suffered from severe stomach pain, and there are unconfirmed reports of students vomiting blood.

Police have deployed investigators to the school to verify the chronology of events. The Indonesian Commission for Child Protection (KPAI) has called for the perpetrators to be held accountable and urged the government to strengthen bullying prevention and counseling services in schools.
