Tangerang Selatan to showcase integrated land and tax data system

The Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) city government is set to showcase its innovation in integrating geospatial, land, and tax data through the SISGITA (Sistem Integrasi Geospasial Informasi Tanah dan Pajak) system. The initiative, developed in collaboration with the Tangsel Land Office, uses Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to map tax objects and land parcels spatially.

Mayor Benyamin Davnie stated that the system allows for the identification of discrepancies between tax documentation and actual land measurements. For example, if a tax document records 100 square meters but certification shows 120 square meters, the system connects the data to allow for tax adjustments. This integration links the Tax Object Number (NOP) with the Land Identification Number (NIB).

Approximately 58 regional governments have expressed interest in replicating this system. An event scheduled for September 21, 2026, will involve the signing of cooperation agreements to facilitate this replication. The innovation has already drawn attention from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
