Tangier El Faro Project supports migrant children with Italian funding
The El Faro Project in Tangier, Morocco, is providing support to migrant children and adolescents through the Archdiocese of Tangier. Funded by the Italian Episcopal Conference via the ‘8xmille’ initiative, the project operates the Guadalupe Family Home and the San Francesco Day Center.
These facilities aim to offer a safe refuge, education, and professional training to vulnerable youth living on the streets. The initiative seeks to provide these children with the opportunity to build a dignified life and future within Morocco, reducing the need for risky migration attempts toward Europe.
