Tangier police arrest Danish national wanted by Interpol

Moroccan security forces in Tangier arrested a 28-year-old Danish national of Israeli descent on September 12, 2026. The individual was identified via an Interpol red notice issued by Danish judicial authorities.

The suspect is reportedly one of the most wanted individuals in Scandinavia. He faces several serious criminal charges in Denmark, including premeditated murder, drug trafficking, kidnapping, and violent abduction.

The operation was conducted by the Tangier police following precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST). Following the arrest, the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Rabat notified Danish authorities. The suspect is currently in custody pending a decision by the relevant prosecutor's office regarding potential extradition procedures.
