Moroccan security forces in Tangier have arrested Ali Namdar, a 21-year-old Swedish national identified as a key figure in the Foxtrot criminal network. The arrest was executed following an Interpol Red Notice and a request from Swedish judicial authorities.

Namdar is suspected of involvement in approximately 18 violent crimes in Sweden, including attempted murder, explosions, and grenade attacks in cities such as Borås, Oddevalla, and Katrineholm. During the arrest, authorities also identified the use of forged identity documents.

Swedish National Police Commissioner Petra Lund praised the cooperation between the Swedish police and Morocco’s General Directorate for National Security, describing the partnership as ‘excellent and effective.’ Sweden is preparing an official extradition request, a process expected to take several months.
