Tangier to host AUSIM Assises focusing on AI and digital sovereignty

The 8th edition of the AUSIM Assises will take place in Tangier from October 7 to 9, bringing together more than 1,200 participants from both the public and private sectors. The event focuses on the theme ‘AIMPOWERING: Through Innovation, Intelligence, and Sovereignty,’ aiming to explore how technological advancements, particularly artificial intelligence, can be converted into concrete organizational value.

Key discussions will center on digital sovereignty, data governance, and the transition from pilot projects to large-scale deployment. The summit aims to move beyond mere technological experimentation to focus on strategic decision-making and technological autonomy.

Participants include Moroccan and international leaders, experts, and IT directors. Represented organizations include CIH Bank, OCP, Marjane, Orange, and inwi, alongside international experts from the Estonian digital administration and the European technology sector. Institutional presence will include representatives from the General Directorate of Information Systems Security and the National Commission for the Control of the Protection of Personal Data.
