Tangier to host Regate 4 Med for Mediterranean youth

The Regate 4 Med event will take place in Tangier this October, bringing together youth from 12 Mediterranean countries. Organized by the Moroccan NGO Tibu Africa under UNESCO patronage, the initiative uses sailing to promote social inclusion, marine environmental protection, and the blue economy.

The program includes professional training and discussions regarding maritime career opportunities. The event features participation from eight Italian youths supported by the Italian Embassy in Rabat and the Usamborgia cultural association. A photographic exhibition by the Italian Sailing Federation will also accompany the festivities, culminating in a regatta in the Bay of Tangier on October 24, 2026.
