Tango educational institutions in Argentina receive recognition and celebrate milestones

Tango educational institutions in Argentina are seeing significant developments in formal training and professional recognition. In Rosario, the La Casa del Tango cultural center has received official recognition from the Ministry of Education of the Province of Santa Fe. Its pedagogical programs, which include tango dance and specialized training for musicians and singers in Orquesta Escuela and Tango Guitar Ensemble styles, will now provide official certification.

In Buenos Aires, the Centro Educativo de Tango de Buenos Aires (Cetba) is celebrating 35 years of operation. Located in the Balvanera neighborhood, the state-run center currently trains over 600 students in the theory, history, and practice of tango. Cetba operates as a unique global cultural pole under the coordination of the Agency of Skills for the Future, offering diverse artistic ensembles including the Orquesta Escuela Horacio Ferrer and the Ballet Escuela del Instructorado.
