Tania Ruíz Castro targets San Juan del Río leadership for PAN

Tania Ruíz Castro, the municipal coordinator for the National Action Party (PAN) in San Juan del Río, has announced her intention to build a broad coalition for future elections. Ruíz Castro stated that her project aims to include diverse voices and sectors to form a solid team, emphasizing a commitment to dialogue and listening to different perspectives.

Ruíz Castro, who is the first woman to hold the PAN municipal coordination in San Juan del Río in 35 years, will continue her role at the Querétaro State Government's Regional Projects Directorate as legal provisions allow. She plans to coordinate strategies with state PAN president Martín Arango García and Bibiana Rodríguez Montes.

Local deputy Guillermo Vega Guerrero has expressed support for Ruíz Castro, asserting that her team represents the best option for the municipality in the 2027 elections. Vega noted that while he maintains a personal friendship with Edgar Inzunza, his political loyalty remains with the decisions of Governor Mauricio Kuri González and the PAN.
