Taniec z Gwiazdami faces orchestra disputes and new themed episodes

The 19th edition of the Polish television program ‘Taniec z Gwiazdami’ (Dancing with the Stars) is currently facing several developments. A controversy has emerged regarding the show's orchestra, as musician Mariusz Mielczarek reported that he and several colleagues were dismissed, allegedly due to their age. The Polish Musicians' Union has requested explanations from the producers and Polsat regarding these terminations.

Upcoming episodes will feature a special theme dedicated to the work of Maryla Rodowicz, who will also join the judging panel. Amidst the competition, participants are preparing for the ‘family episode,’ where they may invite guests to dance. Helena Englert has indicated she wishes to be judged on her own merits rather than her family name, though her parents, Jan Englert and Beata Ścibakówna, have been approached about potential appearances.

Regarding the production team, Janja Lesar has clarified her ongoing role with the show, confirming she is working behind the scenes as a choreographer for Latin American dances following her participation in previous seasons.
