Michelle undergoes radical transformation and career change

Former German Schlager singer Michelle, born Tanja Hewer, has undergone a radical physical and professional transformation. After retiring from her stage career in February 2026, the 54-year-old has shaved her long blonde hair into a one-centimeter buzz cut.

Hewer describes the change as a step toward her true self and a way to release old energy. She has also transitioned from performing music to working as a medium and soul coach. Operating under her birth name, Tanja Hewer, she offers spiritual coaching sessions, often focusing on processing deep-seated emotional issues from childhood. Her services are in high demand, with initial consultation slots reportedly booked through February.

She clarified that the haircut was a planned decision for her new life chapter and not an impulsive reaction to her recent separation from Eric Philippi.
