Former figure skater and RTL star Tanja Szewczenko has announced that she and her family are relocating to Timișoara, Romania. After previously moving to Dubai in 2023, Szewczenko revealed on Instagram that the decision to move to western Romania was a carefully planned transition intended to seek a more self-determined life.

Szewczenko described Timișoara, often referred to as ‘Little Vienna’, as a city that ‘optimizes our life for everyone’ due to its baroque architecture, cultural roots, and German history. The move includes her husband, Norman Jeschke, and their three children. The family intends to utilize local international schools and training facilities for her daughter, Jona.

While the family is establishing Timișoara as their primary residence, they plan to maintain Dubai as a secondary home.
