Tanjazz festival returns to Tangier for 23rd edition in 2026

The 23rd edition of the Tanjazz festival is scheduled to take place in Tangier from September 18 to 20, 2026. Organized under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, the event features an eclectic lineup including Grammy Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater, the Mexican duo Rodrigo y Gabriela, Buena Vista All Stars, and Diego El Cigala.

Central to the festival will be the Palais des Institutions Italienes, which will host major performances across its Patio and Garden stages. The programming extends beyond traditional jazz to include soul, funk, swing, blues, afrobeat, flamenco, and Cuban music. In addition to headline concerts, the festival will offer jam sessions, swing dance classes, and musical masterclasses.

To increase accessibility, the ‘Tanjazz en Ville’ initiative will provide several free musical performances at various locations throughout Tangier during the three-day event.
