Tank Brigade 201 assists with flood response in Vietnam

Soldiers from Tank Brigade 201 have been deployed to assist local residents in responding to rising river levels and heavy rainfall. Following reports of increased water levels in the Bùi River, personnel were dispatched to Xuân Mai commune to reinforce dykes and mitigate flood risks.

Approximately 130 soldiers from Battalion 3, alongside local emergency forces, are working to reinforce low-lying sections of the Bùi Hai dyke. The operation involves transporting sand, soil, and materials via motorized vehicles to reinforce embankments and cover vulnerable areas with tarpaulins. Additionally, military personnel are assisting residents with protecting property, moving livestock, and harvesting crops in low-lying areas.
