Tanner Thorson Wins Road to the Hockett Round 3 at Lucas Oil Speedway

Tanner Thorson captured the Rod End Supply “Road to the Hockett” Round 3 in the POWRi 410 Sprint series at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. After a daring pass for the lead on lap 13, he held off late‑race cautions and a green‑white‑checkered restart, finishing .956 seconds ahead of Joe B. Miller with Joel Myers Jr. in third.

Thorson praised his crew, saying, “Hats off to this team. We have the whole JST crew here tonight… It was a fun little trip.” Other winners in the event were Jack Wagner in the POWRi WAR Sprints and Jake Greenwood in the 305 IMCA RaceSaver Sprints. The Road to the Hockett series awards points toward an automatic bid to the fall open‑wheel championship, with the top three in points receiving prize money and Lucas Oil products. The championship night is scheduled for August 22.
