Tantan Sulthon elected Chairman of PWI West Java

Tantan Sulthon Bukhawan has been elected as the Chairman of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) for West Java for the 2026–2031 period. The election took place during the PWI West Java Provincial Conference held at the Hotel Horison in Bandung on Wednesday night.

Tantan secured a decisive victory with 444 votes out of 699 valid ballots, representing approximately 64.25 percent of the total. His opponent, Hardiansyah, received 247 votes. Following the announcement, Tantan called for unity among all members across various regencies and cities, emphasizing that the organization's programs require collective support and cross-generational cooperation to strengthen its role in democracy.
