Tanya Miller receives over $2M in DAGA funding for Georgia race
The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) has increased its investment in the Georgia attorney general race to over $2 million in support of Democratic nominee Tanya Miller. DAGA President Sean Rankin stated that the funding reinforces their commitment to helping Miller flip the seat.
Miller, a former prosecutor, has launched a televised campaign advertisement emphasizing her criminal prosecution experience while contrasting it with her opponent, Brian Strickland, who lacks prosecutorial background.
In a separate address at a Courier Georgia event, Miller spoke to Black women about political resilience following the 2024 presidential election loss of Kamala Harris. Miller encouraged continued participation in public life, stating, “We take our power. We do not concede it. We do not retreat. We do not surrender.”
