Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority praised for digital service improvements
Tanzania’s Minister of Transport, Prof. Makame Mbarawa, has commended the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) for its effective management of the aviation sector and its integration of modern digital systems to enhance service delivery.
During the Fourth International Transport and Logistics Conference held at Mlimani City in Dar es Salaam, TCAA officials demonstrated the use of technology to streamline operations. Key advancements highlighted include the ‘Civil Aviation Services Portal (CASP)’, an electronic system designed to allow aviation stakeholders to access services more quickly and efficiently. Additionally, the authority has implemented a Customer Service Desk to facilitate the receipt and tracking of stakeholder feedback and challenges.
The conference, organized by the National Institute of Transport (NIT), brought together public and private sector stakeholders to exchange knowledge and discuss opportunities and challenges within the national transport and logistics industry.
