Tanzania hosts Indian tourism agents to boost travel sector

A delegation of 13 tourism agents from India is conducting a familiarization trip in Tanzania to promote the country as a premier travel destination. Organized by the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) in collaboration with the Tanzanian Embassy in India, the mission aims to strengthen business cooperation and increase tourist arrivals from the Indian market, which is one of Tanzania’s top six source markets.

During the trip, agents visited major attractions including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park. The delegation participated in business-to-business meetings with local tour operators to establish direct partnerships. The itinerary is scheduled to conclude in Zanzibar, focusing on beach and cultural tourism.
