Tanzania orders 14-day expert review of Kazimzumbwi boundary dispute
Prof. Riziki Shemdoe, Minister of State in the President’s Office (TAMISEMI), has ordered experts to conduct a 14-day analysis of over 60 grievances submitted by citizens regarding a long-standing administrative and forest boundary dispute in Kazimzumbwi.
The directive involves the Director of Urban and Rural Planning, the Land Commissioner, the Director of Surveying and Mapping, and the Tanzania Forest Services Agency (TFS). Once the analysis is complete, the findings will be presented to Vice President Deogratius Ndejembi, who will then submit the matter to President Samia Suluhu Hassan for a permanent resolution.
This action follows previous instructions from the Vice President to convene relevant ministers to find a solution to the boundary conflict.
