Tanzania Pushes Trade Partnership with Nigeria Ahead of FAB West Africa 2026 Expo
The Tanzania High Commission in Abuja announced plans to deepen trade and investment ties with Nigeria by taking part in the Food & Beverage West Africa 2026 exhibition in Lagos from June 9 to 11. Tanzania will operate a dedicated pavilion (Booth 3E06, Hall 3) showcasing premium agricultural and food products such as tea, coffee, wine, cashew nuts, spices, spreads and dips. A delegation of Tanzanian private‑sector firms will hold business‑to‑business meetings with Nigerian and international buyers, importers, distributors, retailers, investors and hospitality operators. The effort aims to boost bilateral trade, attract investment and support the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) by promoting Tanzanian agribusiness across West Africa.
