Tanzania's Nanenane Exhibition to Showcase International Agribusiness Technologies in Dodoma

Tanzania will host the 33rd Nanenane Agricultural Exhibition in Dodoma, promoting value addition and modern farming methods. More than 17 international agribusiness companies are expected to display mechanised equipment, irrigation systems, crop‑processing machines and renewable‑energy‑powered technologies aimed at boosting productivity, reducing post‑harvest losses and increasing farmer incomes. Director of Agricultural Mechanisation and Value Addition, Anna Mwangamilo, highlighted demonstrations ranging from land preparation to solar‑driven storage solutions, stressing the exhibition’s role in achieving Vision 2050 and national food security.

The Crop and Mixed Crops Authority (COPRA), led by Irene Madeje Mlola, will take part by organising workshops on maize value addition, a “Digital Agribusiness Influencers Day” and providing market and trade advice to farmers, processors and investors. COPRA’s involvement is intended to connect stakeholders with information on market demand, quality standards and digital trading opportunities.
