Taoglas acquires QuWireless to boost industrial connectivity

Taoglas, a provider of antennas and advanced RF solutions, has completed the acquisition of QuWireless (Wireless Instruments Sp. z o. o.), a specialist in high-performance antennas and antenna-enclosure systems.

Headquartered in Poland, QuWireless develops integrated products that house routers directly within antenna enclosures. This design is intended to simplify the installation process for outdoor applications, such as industrial sites, smart grids, and transport systems, by reducing the need for extensive RF cabling and allowing installers to mount a single unit.

The acquisition aims to meet rising demand for reliable wireless connectivity in remote and industrial environments, fueled by the expansion of 5G, private networks, and IoT deployments. The combined portfolio will offer a broader range of supported devices, frequency bands, and form factors.
