The 2026 Taoyuan Asian Baseball Exchange Series will take place this weekend at the Rakuten Taoyuan Baseball Stadium, featuring professional teams from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. The event includes the CPBL's Rakuten Monkeys, the NPB's Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, and the KBO's Kiwoom Heroes.

Matchups are scheduled for November 7, where the Rakuten Monkeys will face the Kiwoom Heroes, and November 8, when the Rakuten Monkeys will play the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. The series highlights include Taiwanese pitcher Liu Chih-jung making his debut for the Golden Eagles, and South Korean pitcher An Woo-jin leading the Heroes.

Rakuten Monkeys manager Tseng Hao-chu stated the roster focuses on young players to test autumn training results through high-intensity international competition. The series will also feature a cross-border cheerleading showcase involving teams from all three nations.
