Taoyuan City launches community health, education, and youth initiatives

Taoyuan City is implementing several community-focused initiatives spanning public health, education, and youth development.

The Taoyuan City Health Bureau has launched the ‘Taoyuan Health Flight’ campaign to promote chronic disease and hepatitis prevention. The program includes health screenings and interactive activities, offering incentives such as electronic vouchers and prizes to encourage citizens to monitor conditions like diabetes and hepatitis.

In education, Fudan Senior High School reported strong academic results for the 2026 university admissions cycle, with 341 students admitted to public, overseas, or medical institutions, including significant placements at National Taiwan University.

Safety and youth engagement are also being prioritized. The Fudan Fire Station provided emergency medical training, including CPR and AED use, to Chung Yuan Christian University EMBA students preparing for a desert expedition. Additionally, the Taoyuan City Bureau of Youth Affairs concluded its ‘Youth Leap’ coming-of-age camp, which utilized technology and team challenges to help 300 teenagers prepare for adulthood.
