Taoyuan releases theme song for 115th National Games

Taoyuan City has officially released ‘Challenge the Peak’, the theme song for the upcoming 115th National Games. The song is performed by singer Gub Gub (Lu Si-wei) and cheerleader Lan Lan, and features a music video showcasing cheerleading squads from four local professional baseball and basketball teams.

The National Games are scheduled to take place in Taoyuan from October 17 to 22. The event will feature 32 competition categories across 43 venues, with more than 13,000 athletes and staff expected to participate. Taoyuan Mayor Chang Shan-cheng emphasized that the song aims to inspire athletes to overcome personal challenges and reach their potential.

To support the event, the city government has launched the ‘Taoyuan GO’ travel initiative, offering various themed itineraries and discounts to encourage tourism and local engagement during the competition period.
