Taoyuan to digitize foreign worker recruitment processes in 2027

The Taoyuan City Government Employment and Vocational Training Service Division has announced that domestic recruitment processes for hiring foreign workers will transition to a fully online system starting January 1, 2027.

This initiative follows the launch of the ‘Online Domestic Recruitment System for Hiring Foreigners’ by the Ministry of Labor’s Workforce Development Agency. The digital platform allows employers and authorized private employment agencies to register domestic recruitment needs and apply for recruitment certificates online.

By utilizing the system, users can reduce paperwork, save travel time to employment service centers, track application progress, and download necessary certificates. Employers are encouraged to register accounts and familiarize themselves with the digital workflow via the Taiwan Employment Service Portal to ensure a smooth transition to the mandatory online process.
