Taoyuan Youth Innovation Expo Showcases 200+ Startups and International Partnerships

The Taoyuan Future Peak (Taoyuan Youth Innovation Expo) and BIOMED‑X biomedical startup matchmaking fair opened on 5 August 2026 at the Taoyuan Exhibition Center. Co‑hosted by the Taoyuan City Government and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the two‑day event gathered more than 200 startup teams, over 40 industry partners and about 1,500 domestic and international professionals. Exhibits spanned smart manufacturing, green technology and smart medical fields, and an international pavilion featured participants from Canada, Japan, the United States and other countries.

A dedicated Hsinchu City pavilion displayed seven local startups focusing on AI‑driven health care, green tech and digital applications. Hsinchu City Mayor Gao Hong‑an praised the city’s innovation capacity, while Taoyuan Mayor Zhang Shanzheng highlighted Taoyuan’s role as a gateway for Taiwanese technology firms to global markets. The expo offered forums, one‑on‑one matchmaking and investment opportunities aimed at helping startups secure funding, market access and overseas collaborations.
