TAP Air Portugal adds Brazil routes for 2026 and launches premium mileage card
In 2026 TAP Air Portugal will celebrate 60 years of service to Brazil and expand its network to 15 Brazilian cities, adding new weekly flights to Curitiba and São Luís. The airline plans to carry more than 2.1 million passengers on its trans‑Atlantic services, using Lisbon as a hub for connections to major Brazilian destinations.
At the same time TAP has introduced the TAP BTG Pactual Black credit card, aimed at high‑income travelers. The card converts spending into TAP Miles&Go points at rates of 2.5 miles per US $ on domestic purchases, 3.5 miles on international purchases and 4 miles on TAP bookings, with a welcome bonus of 45 000 miles for qualifying spend. Users can earn up to roughly 120 000 miles in a year, and the miles do not expire while the card remains active.
