TAP Air Portugal increases flight frequency between Valencia and Lisbon

TAP Air Portugal is increasing its flight frequency between Valencia, Venezuela, and Lisbon, Portugal. According to the Airline Association of Venezuela (ALAV), the airline will add a second weekly flight to the route, which currently operates on Mondays. The new service will take place on Sundays.

The expanded schedule is set to begin during the months of September and October, utilizing Airbus A330-200 and A330-900 aircraft. Flight 3185 will depart Lisbon on Saturdays at 4:45 p.m., arriving in Valencia at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. The return flight will depart Valencia at 3:45 a.m., making a technical stop in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, before arriving in Lisbon at 2:35 p.m.

This increase in service aims to meet passenger demand and improve air connectivity in Venezuela. The move follows the temporary suspension of operations at Maiquetía International Airport due to earthquake damage on June 24, which led the airline to shift its operations to Arturo Michelena International Airport in Valencia.
