TAP Air Portugal introduces new sustainable travel kits with Portuguese brands
TAP Air Portugal has introduced new travel kits for long-haul flights in Business and Economy Prime classes, focusing on sustainability and Portuguese identity. The new 'The Blaze' collection features items made from recycled materials, such as bags with recycled linings and sustainable accessories like bamboo toothbrushes.
The airline is incorporating several Portuguese brands into its passenger experience. Pedemeia, a family-owned textile company founded in Braga in 1966, is providing socks for the kits. Additionally, the brand 8950 is supplying personal care and wellness products inspired by the Algarve region.
Other service enhancements include a collaboration with LUGGit for luggage handling, a 'Skip Meal' option for passengers, and free access to PressReader digital news via onboard Wi-Fi on specific Airbus models.
