TAP Air Portugal reported a solid first‑quarter 2026 performance, with operating revenue rising 11% year‑on‑year to €914.4 million, driven by higher passenger income and a 6.2% increase in unit revenue. The airline carried 3.7 million passengers, up 6.4%, and its load factor reached 83.5%. Recurring EBITDA was €95.5 million and recurring EBIT improved to a loss of €36.1 million, reflecting €92.6 million and €83.1 million gains respectively versus the same period in 2025. Liquidity stood at €879.8 million and net financial debt‑to‑EBITDA fell to 2.2×.
Separately, TAP Air Cargo announced its membership in the Pharma.Aero global community, aiming to strengthen temperature‑controlled pharmaceutical logistics across Europe, the Americas and Africa via its Lisbon hub. The division highlighted its dedicated solutions for preserving product integrity and pledged to share expertise and improve supply‑chain resilience, according to product‑services director Rita Rosário Garcia.
