TAP Air Portugal updates long-haul passenger services
TAP Air Portugal is updating its onboard and ground services for long-haul flights, including routes to and from Brazil. The airline is introducing “The Blaze” amenity kits for Business and Economy Prime passengers, which feature Portuguese-inspired products, recycled materials, and sustainable items such as bamboo toothbrushes.
Digital enhancements include free access to the PressReader platform via the aircraft's Wi-Fi on Airbus A330-900neo and Airbus A321LR models. This allows passengers to read international newspapers and magazines on their own devices without purchasing an internet package. Additionally, a “Skip Meal” option enables passengers to opt out of onboard catering through the airline's mobile app or booking system.
On the ground, TAP is partnering with LUGGit to offer luggage collection, storage, and delivery services at airports in Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, and Athens. These changes aim to optimize processes, control costs, and provide more flexible service options for travelers.
