Socialist Party deputies Carlos Pereira and Francisco César raised concerns in the Portuguese Assembly about recent operational requirements imposed by TAP Air Portugal on the transport of dangerous goods. The deputies warned that the changes could directly affect the timely shipment of medical reagents and devices essential for clinical analysis, particularly for the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira.

In a parliamentary question to the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, they asked whether the new requirements stem from international regulations or are solely TAP’s operational decisions.
