Tapachula FC defeats Inter Playa del Carmen 2-0

Tapachula FC secured their first victory of the 2026-2027 Primera Premier season by defeating Inter Playa del Carmen 2-0 at the Estadio Olímpico de Tapachula.

After a scoreless first half, Gabriel Vidal opened the scoring for the home side in the 47th minute with a powerful shot. Ávila later extended the lead with a long-range strike from outside the penalty area. The match concluded with Inter Playa del Carmen playing with ten men after defender Juan Blanco received a red card in the final minutes.

The win provides Tapachula FC with their first three points of the campaign, helping them move away from the bottom of the Group Two standings.
