Taquaruçu Gastronomic Festival announces musical lineup and prizes

The Taquaruçu Gastronomic Festival has announced its musical lineup and competition details for the upcoming event in the Palmas district, scheduled for September 3 to 7.

Musical attractions include Seu Jorge, who opens the program on September 3, followed by Vanessa da Mata on September 4, and Jorge Vercillo and Marina Sena on September 5. The festival also features a gastronomic competition organized by the City of Palmas, which will distribute R$ 156,000 in prizes across 55 available slots.

A new category, ‘Regional Drinks,’ has been introduced for this edition. Competitors in the culinary categories are required to use ingredients from the Cerrado biome. The competition is divided into the Gastronomic Circuit for individuals and the Gastronomic Route for legal entities with establishments in Taquaruçu.
