Tar Calabria upholds caregiver injunction against Asp di Cosenza

The Tar Calabria administrative court has confirmed a precautionary measure requested by a group of families and caregivers against the Asp di Cosenza. The legal challenge targets a reorganization of high-intensity integrated home care (ADI) services, specifically citing corporate resolution no. 1074 from July 28, 2026.

The association Caregiver Familiari Uniti argues that the reorganization threatens the continuity of care and the essential relationship between patients and their operators. Families have also reported delays in accessing funds for non-self-sufficiency and claimed that district offices continued to send communications regarding the replacement of service providers even after the judge's initial decision.

A new hearing is scheduled for November 18 to address the reorganization and related appeals.
