TAR Lazio upholds legal validity of INDIRE training courses

The TAR Lazio has issued ruling no. 14298/2026 regarding INDIRE training courses, affirming the legal validity and equal value of these specialization titles. The court rejected arguments from teachers who claimed the courses were of a lower or subordinate nature.

The judges clarified that the shorter duration of the courses does not indicate lower quality, noting that the programs are comparable to university-based TFA support training. Furthermore, the court ruled that exemptions from certain internships for experienced teachers are legitimate to avoid duplicating training already acquired through professional service.
