Tarabai hit-and-run leaves five children injured

Five children are receiving medical treatment at the Presidente Prudente Regional Hospital following a serious hit-and-run accident in Tarabai. The incident occurred last Saturday involving a Fiat Uno.

Two girls, aged 11 and 12, are currently in intensive care units. While their conditions are described as serious and critical, medical reports indicate they are stable. The other three victims, aged 2, 6, and 7, are in general wards and are showing signs of progressive recovery.

Civil Police investigations revealed that the 33-year-old driver showed signs of intoxication and fled the scene without providing assistance. The driver has been arrested in flagrante.
