Taranto cultural meeting to discuss plastic and health risks

The cultural association Università Popolare Zeus will host a lecture in Taranto on September 12 regarding the health risks associated with plastic use. The event is part of the “WEWE-WELLNESS E WELFARE CULTURALE PER TUTTI” project, which is funded by the Puglia Region to promote active aging and health.

Speaker Dr. Annamaria Moschetti will discuss the release of microplastics into the human body and examine the implications of using plastic water bottles, synthetic clothing, and plastic toys. The session aims to increase awareness of how environmental factors impact public health.
