Taranto fans banned from away matches until March 2027

Authorities have issued a ban on away supporters for SS Taranto, prohibiting them from traveling to matches until March 1, 2027. The decision follows serious disorder during the playoff final against Gladiator on June 14, 2026, as well as other incidents involving clashes with opposing fans in Ugento and during a home match against Acquaviva.

SS Taranto expressed deep regret over the measure, noting that it deprives the team of essential support during away games, though the club stated it respects the institutional decision. The club has called on supporters to increase their passion during home matches instead.
