Taranto mobility issues spark criticism of Kyma Mobilità

The consumer association ADOC Taranto has criticized Kyma Mobilità following a social media post that used irony to address local parking and mobility issues. The association demanded an apology, stating that the tone was inappropriate given the significant distress residents have faced for months regarding parking availability and traffic flow.

According to ADOC, the mobility crisis in Taranto has been exacerbated by the Mediterranean Games, which introduced road closures and parking restrictions. The association also noted that the construction of BRT lines has removed thousands of parking spaces without providing adequate alternative solutions for residents, alongside issues regarding the management of blue zones and the non-renewal of free resident passes.
