Taranto secures four consecutive wins under coach Luca Tiozzo

Taranto has secured four consecutive victories across league and Coppa Italia matches under new coach Luca Tiozzo. Following a 3-1 win against Ostuni, which secured a second-round berth in the Coppa Italia Eccellenza, the team has demonstrated increased defensive solidity and squad depth.

Tiozzo highlighted the team's ability to apply pressure and perform effectively even when not in possession. He noted that the squad's competitiveness and the ability to rotate players have become key strengths, with eight different scorers recorded so far this season.

The team now prepares for a critical upcoming match against Canosa, currently sitting three points ahead in the standings. Taranto will be bolstered by the return of midfielder Angelo Bonavolontà. Meanwhile, a potential transfer for Romanian player Dragus Albu has collapsed due to disagreements regarding terms.
