Community development initiatives launched across Venezuela, Mexico, and Chile

Various regional initiatives are focusing on community development and social welfare through participatory governance and urban improvement programs.

In Venezuela, the National Popular Consultation has launched in La Guaira, allowing citizens to decide on over 500 regional projects. In the Guarapiche sector of Cumaná, residents inaugurated three projects selected via communal consultation, including a water purification plant, a waste collection vehicle, and a community self-government headquarters.

In Mexico, Puebla Mayor Pepe Chedraui has implemented 'Jornadas Imparables' and participatory budget programs. These initiatives provide health services, financial aid, and infrastructure improvements—such as public lighting and sports facility rehabilitation—to various housing units and neighborhoods.

In Chile, the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism celebrated 20 years of the 'Quiero Mi Barrio' program in Tarapacá. The initiative has invested over 20 billion pesos to improve public spaces and community organization across 27 neighborhoods.
