Tarapacá Regional Government provides emergency supplies for rainfall response

The Tarapacá Regional Government (GORE) and the Regional Council have provided emergency supplies to SENAPRED to strengthen the response to recent rainfall in the region. The contribution includes approximately 7,000 meters of nylon and 2,400 blankets.

These supplies will be distributed among the municipalities of Iquique, Alto Hospicio, and Huara based on local requirements and coordination through the Regional Disaster Prevention and Response System. The nylon is intended to protect homes and structures from leaks, while the blankets will assist families affected by the weather conditions. Regional Governor José Miguel Carvajal emphasized that the goal is to bolster local response capacity and ensure resources reach communities promptly.
