Tarcísio de Freitas calls presenter Tiago Pavinatto following criticisms

São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas personally called presenter Tiago Pavinatto to address recent criticisms regarding a potential rapprochement between the governor and Supreme Federal Court Minister Alexandre de Moraes.

Pavinatto had previously raised questions concerning the governor's role in discussions involving Moraes and associates of Flávio Bolsonaro. During the telephone conversation, Tarcísio reportedly stated that he did not intend to criticize the presenter for his analysis, acknowledging Pavinatto's right to express his interpretation of facts to his audience.

The governor reportedly used the call to clarify his version of events and explain his administrative routine and political relationships in Brasília. Tarcísio also noted that he does not believe in suing journalists, suppressing criticism, or paying media professionals to provide favorable coverage of his administration.
