Tarczyński Copa Kabanos youth football tournament launched in Poland

The Polish Football Association (PZPN), sponsored by Tarczyński, has launched the inaugural Tarczyński Copa Kabanos, a nationwide football tournament for children born between 2015 and 2020. The competition features 3x3 format matches played on four goals, designed to increase ball contact and decision-making skills for players in the U-7, U-9, and U-11 categories.

Teams from schools, kindergartens, and sports clubs across Poland can register until August 30. Each team can consist of up to five players, including three active players and two substitutes, with matches lasting eight minutes. The tournament aims to foster creativity, teamwork, and passion for the sport.

The competition will culminate in a national final held at the Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław. Participants and winners have the opportunity to receive various prizes, including training sessions with PZPN coaches, attendance at national team training sessions, and individual medals. Winning schools or clubs in the U-9 and U-11 categories may also receive a pneumatic 3x3 football pitch.
