The 2026 Targa Florio Classica, one of the world’s oldest automotive races, concluded in Sicily with Gianmario Fontanella and Giovanni Scarabelli taking the overall victory. Driving a 1930 Fiat 514 Sport, the duo also secured the title of Italian champions in the Campionato Italiano Grandi Eventi.
The event, organized by the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) and AC Palermo, featured over 200 historic vehicles competing across 600 kilometers of the legendary Madonie circuit. Participants included a wide range of vehicles, from cars produced in 1920 to modern Ferraris.
In the general classification, Marco Campilongo and Giovanni Moceri achieved second place overall driving a 1941 Lancia Ardea. The competition drew international interest, highlighting the historical significance of the race originally established by Vincenzo Florio in 1906.
