Targa Florio Classica 2026 celebrates 120 years of Sicilian motorsport

The Targa Florio Classica 2026, celebrating the 120th anniversary of the historic race founded by Vincenzo Florio, is underway in Sicily. The event, organized by the Automobile Club d’Italia, features 200 crews competing in a regularity challenge rather than pure speed.

Starting from Piazza Verdi in Palermo, the competition includes prestigious international guests, including presidents of FIA founding member clubs. The race route spans over 600 kilometers, with key stages moving through the Madonie region, including locations such as Collesano, Geraci Siculo, and Pollina.

In addition to the Targa Florio, other regional motorsport events are scheduled, including the Autoslalom Città di Misilmeri and the Quad Cross and Sidecarcross Italian Championship at the Ciglione circuit in Malpensa.
