Target completes lower-level renovation of SoHo flagship store
Target Corp. has unveiled a newly transformed lower level at its SoHo store in New York City, completing a multi-phase renovation of the flagship location. The updated space is designed to offer immersive experiences across several key categories, including home, wellness, toys, and food and beverage.
Key features of the redesigned space include 'The Bullseye Loft' for home goods, 'The Balance Mart' for wellness and beauty, and 'The Explorers’ Lab' for interactive toy shopping. The retailer has also reimagined its food and beverage section as a modern city market, featuring a 'Snack Bar' inspired by New York streetscapes.
This renovation follows a main-floor remodel completed nearly a year ago. According to Target's chief brand officer Michelle Messenberg, the goal was to evolve the location from a convenience-oriented spot into a more comprehensive brand experience that reflects the high-traffic, trendy nature of the SoHo shopping district. Looking toward 2027, the company plans to introduce exclusive products and collectibles specifically for this location.
